Lesbury

Lesbury is a small village on the outskirts of Alnmouth populated by pretty stone cottages, a pub, a post office and a church.  It is 10 minutes walk from Bilton, which is slightly closer than Alnmouth.  The Coach Inn (picture below) serves excellent pub food and real ales and is popular with both locals and visitors.  The River Aln passes around the outskirts of the village and there is a very nice walk along the banks to Alnmouth or down to the beach at Foxton Golf Club.
